Today Nina and I met some friends at a new “restaurant dining experience” called Gayle’s Broadway Rose. It was AWESOME! First, we were welcomed by Gayle, who is lovely. Throughout our meal, she came over to our table to check in and chat with us about the story of her restaurant (By the way, her husband is the DJ!).
Gayle’s Broadway Rose
The idea of Gayle’s is that the waitstaff sings Broadway show tunes while you eat. It’s kind of like Ellen’s Stardust Diner, but it feels more intimate because the performers actually come to your table and sing to you. Nina was kind of freaked out by it, but my friend and I LOVED it! The performers (two whom are Gayle’s daughters) are young, energetic and SUPER talented!
All of the food at Gayle’s comes from the Roxy Deli, which is downstairs. The menu is huge and has something for everyone. The food came quickly and I thought it was very good. The ice cream shakes were out of this world delicious!
I wholeheartedly recommend giving Gayle’s a try…its fun and yummy
