Eataly in New York City is something like a mall…but with only things having to do with Italian food. If you have never been, you MUST!!! Since its truffle season, we recently decided to go there for dinner with the kids.
Here are some of the things we saw and ate:
TRUFFLES at Eataly!
- We went to La Pizza & La Pasta for dinner
- It gets super crowded there so make sure to make a reservation.
- Our server was friendly, informative and attentive
- The food was beyond magnificent!
- The chef was more than willing to adjust the menu to suit my kids
Fresh Pasta made while you watch
- Behind the pasta counter is a huge machine that churns out many different pasta shapes.
- Its fun to watch while you are waiting to get seated at a restaurant, but be careful or they may give your spot away!
Bakery at Eataly
- The bakery smells so yummy.
- It’s right near La Pizza & La Pasta, so its an even better choice to watch here while you wait for your table.
Meat to bring home
Cheese to carry out
Pastries to go
Other finds at Eataly:
- several restaurants
- coffee and gelato cafes
- fresh seafood counter
- huge produce area
- a great selection of dry pasta, sauces, wine, olive oil and vinegar, honey and chocolates
- beauty products, books and housewares
